Bourne & Hollingsworth Present:
The Official Boat Race Viewing Party
Sunday 29th March 2020
For the first time, join Bourne & Hollingsworth on board the Silver Sturgeon, a stunning luxury river yacht for the Official Oxford x Cambridge Boat Race Viewing Party on Sunday 29th March 2020. Never before have race fans been able to buy tickets to watch the race on the water, with unbeatable views, right in the heart of all the action.
A major event on the British sporting calendar, 2020 sees the 166th Men’s boat race and the 75th Women's boat race. Every year spectators flock to the banks of the Thames to watch the rowing crews compete on the river. This year, instead of clamouring for a spot on the water’s edge, rowing fans are invited to cheer on their team from the exclusive open air deck of the Silver Sturgeon - cocktail in hand.
A marvellous celebration of old school university rivalry, the day commences at 12pm aboard the stunning river yacht at Savoy Pier in Westminster, where guests will be welcomed on board with a glass of Chapel Down sparkling wine whilst taking in one of the city's most memorable views.
Once on board guests will be invited to dine on a delicious three course lunch in the plush surroundings, all washed down with a delicious wine pairing, as the boat embarks on the first cruise of the day. Serenely sailing from Savoy Pier to Putney Bridge, lunch will be set to the back-drop of London’s most iconic sights before we dock near the bridge at the epicentre of the race.
Not only will guests on board have an unbeatable view of the start and the race, they will be treated to the official commentary from the BBC, plus screens showing the rest of the race, and the closing ceremony all on board the boat, right at the heart of the day’s action.
